Welcome to the
Community Help Center
The Community Help Center is dedicated to providing and connecting individuals with a variety of housing services and supports in the Cambria County community. We serve as a housing hub, providing assistance to anyone in need of housing-related resources, services, or assistance.
Emergency Shelter
Our emergency shelter serves individuals and families in a housing crisis who are in need of a safe place to stay. Our shelter is staffed 24/7 by trained professionals who are dedicated to helping those in need.
Housing & Legal Advocacy
Housing advocacy is available to individuals in need of assistance as they work with the legal system or landlords. Our team of experts is dedicated to helping navigate the legal system and locating needed support to stabilize or maintain housing.
Housing Navigation & Case Management
Case management works with individuals to identify resources, develop goal plans and address Social Determinants of Health. Our Housing and Resource Navigator is available to assist in locating housing options and connecting individuals to resources. Staff includes SOAR and HUD certified Housing Counselors.
Housing Support Program
For those at risk of eviction or in need of assistance, services are available to provide education and, when funds are available, financial assistance.
Financial education is provided through the PHFA Building Your Financial House model. Prepared renter's training is provided to help individuals obtain and maintain housing.

The Community Help Center provides a variety of services to help individuals and families in need. Our services include emergency shelter, legal advocacy, education, housing and resource navigation, case management, diversionary housing, food assistance, and eviction prevention. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive support to those who need it most.
